Pieter and I have discussed it a fair bit and we will probably do the FoY as well once we know the storyline <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
 
And if we don't know the storyline, we'll make something up. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />
I'm sincerely hoping that PotC 4 will NOT have a story as stupid as rumours have suggested.
If it is, I'm inclined to ignore it's existance for modding purposes and just make up our own version instead.

just an update: I have done some tinkering to the Sao Feng sidequest and it should be working how I wanted it to now :D
 
Another UPDATE!!!!

Next patch will have massive fixes and a fairly complete PRE-DMC sidequest... I will be adding more to this (probably after I reinstall XP) but next patch sould be AWESOME when it comes to Hoist the Colours: Tales of Jack Sparrow :cheeky
 
Captain Maggee has been making some adjustments to the Lucas/First Contact quest;
I don't think he added any new stuff to it, just improved the existing parts and Sparrified it some more. :cheeky
 
Slightly Sparrified (I think that word now exists in the dictionary :rofl [we use it enough])

If anyone is interested and can right like Captain Jack talks to do some dialog modification for me it would be much appreciated ;)

All that is involved in this is changing text and making sure not to get rid of either " OR , at the end of each line xD:

NOTE: Use Dialog Merge program to see what lines are actually Jackies and then "Sparrify" it slightly and that will make the game even more worthy of the name Pirates of the Caribbean :cheeky
 
I have another sidequest planned (which is not optional [so really it is a new quest]) which will have the player doing a Rheims type search and failing and then finding him later xD: this will help explain how Beckett is called back to the Caribbean ;)
 
It will be used to split a certain gap up a bit Pieter xD:

That is the first part of the quest and the second part is going to be right before DMC (and will actually explain how Jack knew about the drawing)
 
As Pieter already knows I have updated the Dauntless/Interceptor scene :cheeky

It is now more movie like and I think is pretty cool :D

Thinking about updating the scene just before the SECOND marooning and hopeful I can get that to be awesome as well :D
 
i like the whole quest.it's fun,just a bit short.i did the whole thing in like 4 hours
course i cheat and use god mode cause i never win sword fights :razz but yeah it is
very fun :woot
 
Different routes and sidequests should provide additional gameplay, no?
And eventually we'll be adding DMC and AWE too, which'll be a nice expansion. :cheeky
 
Seriously I dont think anyone (me included) have done EVERY possible route (I know of a route I have never taken [but do know how to get it]) xD:

It does have some seriously great replay value and is only like 1/2 done :cheeky
 
Ok guys guess what! :woot

I am feeling motivated to actually start the Misstress Ching sidequest tomorrow and hopefully will have it finished by next week :dance
