I'm surprized you're not starting with the uncursed version and then adding the mutations on to that, that's what I'm doing.

If you could have a look at the reversed lighting bug on the Pearl,
that would be MOST appreciated.
You're still the only one who can properly work Maya with PotC, so you should be able to.
There is a way to import GM files into Maya by using Inez Dias' tool; flint told me.
Except I forgot exactly how. Hopefully I still have the message somewhere. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
If you manage the Pearl, we've got a coule of other erroneous ships, including HMS Interceptor.

by the way is there any ship without guns on back couse this one is ???
 
The Endeavour has no guns on the stern and the HMS Interceptor has no bow chasers due to lack of space, if I remember correctly.
To me the texture just looks a bit underdetailed. But I can be wrong; pictures can be deceiving. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

lads iv got a question is it possoble to replace the low poly crew with sceletons (cant have fish people then why not dead people )????

It is possible to have skeleton crew on only one ship in the game, it appears.
The skeleton crew depends on the ship ID, which is unique for every ship.
In other words: THAT SUCKS! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whippa.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":whipa" border="0" alt="whippa.gif" />

as for the pearl and reversed lightning bug, im sorry but still dont know whats cousing the problem <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":no" border="0" alt="no.gif" />
 
i also don't see any windows on the gallery. i presume that this is the uncursed version? otherwise it would be nice to have some more murk and grime on it. as for the model itself, it's the best i've seen so far.
 
well, if it is the cursed version, yes, that's what i mean. mainly texturing. i can see that that would be very difficult though. anything to break the cleanness of the hull.
 
The lighting problem is caused by the way the Pearl was exported,
eg using 3DS MAX and Ines Dias' tool.
If you can import the Pearl in Maya then export again, the problem is probably fixed.
 
well i still can try exporting it to obj and puting her together ,but she would need to be textured from start , and ofcourse place all locators from 0
 
Hi,

Bonjourmonamis' version of the Pearl was modified in and exported from Maya though.
If you get his Maya file if him you can have a proper look at how it's set up and you might see what's wrong hopefully <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
