no, far from it. just tiny specs of black here and there. the timber would have rotten away a bit at the seams, or bent, causing cracks and tiny holes here and there. that's what i mean. maybe you could do a small piece of the hull and show us to see how it looks.the holes would be so small that you would only have the texture them on, not model them.

teehee. woopsies. okay, less spots, and far darker to resemble rot. what i mean is that the minor damage should blend in with the rest of the hull. it's a tricky matter of shading and texturing. if it doesn't work, the previous version looks very good.
 
yes, that was what i was looking for! more or less, anyway. it does seem that the cracks are all faced backwards, but i presume that's because the texture keeps getting repeated.

What did you put as this ship's default HP? The ship has lost half of its hull in the pictures <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> That never happened with the old ones...

But a real nice ship

Much better! I think you don't know how the dutchman really looks like in broad daylight, since you see it most of the time in storms.
