EURO PotC Players Build 12 now AVAILABLE and CORRECTED

When i was installing build12 no messages came up and it installed fine so why does it not work properly? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
iam using Euro support is thats the problem ill check it out maybe?

i tried no diff.
 
can someone tell me what's wrong.

I tryed install build 12 but during installation there is write "an 1/0 error occured while installing a file. this is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file."
and then I can't continue installation. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
Hi everyone, i have a problem with build12.
Installation is successful, but, after starting the game, i klick on "new game", and then.... nothing! A dark screen.
I have a new installed PotC (german). Can someone help me?

The only way to get Build 12 to work is by installing Build 12 without `euro-support` on top of Build 11 with `euro-support` <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

The problem is, most buildmakers have the US version, so they can't check out Euroversion problems. I do have the English Euro version, but I haven't had those problems so far. And it's darned difficult to find a problem you don't have.

Sorry, I don't want to sound arrogant, but the only chance to get help for your problem is if you try to encircle the cause and post an EXACT description of it. This post might help you:

It works! I installed Build11, then Build12.

Why, as long as Build 11 is available on the Homepage, that´s no problem. So, first get b11 with euro, then b12 without. Still, I don´t know how to install them, I´ll have to dl them on a different PC than the one PotC is installed on.

Perhaps that is your trouble, <b>kazurincwl.</b> Try Build 12 alone over a clean install of PotC, and it should work (unless you have that version CCC was talking about here: <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/sutra88619.php#88619" target="_blank">http://forum.piratesahoy.net/sutra88619.php#88619</a> )

...still crashed..mine is the english version.

What you could also try is installing Build 12 with Euro support over Build 11 with Euro support. I tried this when Build 12 was crashing for me, and it solved it completely.

For one reason or another that FTP didn´t work, but now I´vegot Build 11 at least. But getting B12 shouldn´t be a problem, does it?
 
Grimm, there's been some changes made to the PA site and the FTP, which accounts for the problems some people have been having with accessing any of the files on the server - a lot of them have been removed, files renamed, and links are dead.

<b>Once again for anyone looking for Build 11, here is a direct FTP link which you can CLICK UPON here and you will get B11:
