EURO PotC Players Build 12 now AVAILABLE and CORRECTED

Heh... But I digress...

Mad Jack has informed me that he (paraphrased from MJ himself) did a bit of analysis on the way things work with the PotC's ENGINE.EXE, to try and divine the reason for the problems all our Euro folks are seeing.

In the last iteration, we started installing all the DLL's from Build 11 for Euro support, and that help a fair percentage of people. But the last nasty bit, where they get the Black Screen (instead of the Black Pearl), has to do with the way ENGINE.EXE initialized the DLL's and calls the DirectX entry points.

Mad Jack figured out that the ENGINE included with Build 11 uses 3 different flavors for calling calling the entry points, each a fallback for the previous. He concluded that this version was created to handle the improvements made by Akella for the Russian version.

In short, Mad Jack has modified the Build to include the uprated ENGINE, and also take care of the BuildSettings.h bug. He also forced the selection of the Update component in the installer so folks don't miss it.

This should eliminate the need for our Euro mateys to install Build 11 before Build 12, including the people with the Ubisoft distribution.

SO we HONESTLY have something that should make all our Euro friends happy for the New Year!
