Need Help Editing ballistics

Is there anyway to adjust ballistic of the cannons in this game,the cannons like more like mortars than actual cannons,they shoot too high and thats too unrealistic,is there anyway to edit them to be more like POTC ballistic,thats's real than this?And beside that the shoots miss too much too

I do not like the mortars either, but do not know the code well enough to do anything.

Ballistic is too high and besides that shoots miss so much,that takes out the fun of naval battles
