Released Corvette V.2

It would be fairly easy to upgrade that model to the Corvette's standard. I would much rather see someone make an accurate version at some point, though.

Just how much updating would you be wanting to do? The current masts are from 3-4 different ships and it would not hurt to get them all from a single vessel. Finding a good donor ship is the problem. The Amsterdam is a tall short ship and could easily end up looking topheavy.
Now if you want to reshape the hull...........

In my book, anything that makes her look better would be welcome. Up to the modelers to decide how far they want to to take it.
Or if they want to do it at all.

well plans would be necessary to do anything significant to the hull, or make a proper new model

The Corvette V2 has been released ages ago. She has been included in the PotC Build Mod since Build 14 Beta 2. Not sure if there are separate files available for them though.

It went quiet here, so I am starting to put the corvette1 masts on the Amsterdam. I hope no one else is doing anything because there is no need to duplicate work. Or rather, if someone else has already started I will stop.

I haven't touched this ship at all, or any other ship since the Rossiya, for that matter.

After some experimenting I have settled on the corvette masts and the yards from the highly detailed frigate that has suddenly appeared in POTC. There is still detail work to do.

I spent last night working on the foremast, raising the yards to get them more proportional. I like these types of yards as the lower ones are wider and the upper ones are narrower. And the lateen is perfect.

I'd say you could possibly move rey_a2 and rey_a3 down a bit more, to increase the size of the tops'ls, and I think some more stays'ls would be nice.
Otherwise, it looks great. Glad my frigate has more uses than I anticipated.

The yards have been moved around and I'm trying to get the sails to look good. Are they better now?

They look great.
All I can suggest to improve it is to lower the bottom of the main course a bit, and perhaps lower rey_b2 and rey_b3 to make the t'gallants bigger. Then I think it would be spot on.
