I wouldn't say that, I said I was done after AOP. I'm gonna buy this one.

Good news!!! Hope we'll find it before end January! Perhaps Chrismas (it would be a good marketing strategy for them).

For now just wait and see.
 
Awesome trailer! Thank ye for the link Cap'n Drow! The character animations look so much smoother than AOP, and the game interface looks fricken awesome! I just hope they have concentrated as much on gameplay as the have the graphics.

Yeah, unfortunately. I think that THEY think that we are a major pirate portal with +1000 visitors every day, signing a competition among our users.
But we kept the name competition within our own forums, and I am glad we did. I still dont think "Age of Pirates II: City of Abandoned Ships" is a good title, compared to "New Horizons" and other suggestions. Age of Pirates is an ooold game and is nowhere near related to this game. But thats just me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
Indeed, but aren't the new graphics, menus and such just beautiful?

Lets keep the names thread alive though. I think some of the names we came up with would make awesome names for mods.

I didnt like the music in AOP but this sounds very good.

The gameplay in AOP was booring in myopinion and I hope thisone is more fun.

The sailing still looks pretty booring though. To small ships on that map (1:16). I wish they took a look at SMP sailingmap which is awesome.

It looks a little like AOP, but it has so many improvements I'm sure it will feel like a whole new game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />
