@ Pieter
Look familiar to you? The only thing I know of where he might of came from is from something called GIC or TDM.
Update:

They look identical.
Yep, that's the PotC Build Mod version by Damski62.
I think it reuses parts of the official At World's End game model, but nobody needs to know that. ;)

Pieter has a good example of a PR narrative covering POTC Build 14 on there now.
That news post also covers the CM pack. :yes

Good grief what I've been missing!?! :shock I'm frozen for little and everyone has grandchildren or something. :shock

:will Tell me! Tell me! What does this mod have? :8q

The feature list of V1 is here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/city-of-abandoned-ships-combined-mods

Cool :will But what about shooting other ships? Will my cannon balls hit the enemy ship better or will they miss like usually?

And what's this JsCombinedCodeMod? do I need to download that too or will COAS combined mod be enough? And where do I download this version 2? ModDb has version 1.8? Meh I'm confused.

Meh I'm confused.

Good to know some things never change! xD:

I would suggest starting off with the JScombined mod first Deep, I haven't installed either yet, but mainly because I haven't had time!!

You're confused? That's because I've been trying to convince them CoAS modders to update the ModDB file.
So far, nobody has done that. The version on the ModDB is old, but should work.
The newer WIP versions can be found from the first post in this thread.

I'm hoping that one day somebody is going to make things easy to understand...

The JScombined mod was the foundation used to build the COAS CM on top of.

The JScombined mod, which the link can be found here: http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?/jscombinedcodemod-t14575.html included several fixes, new ships and characters.

The COAS CM, this thread, includes everything the JScombined mod has but with the addtion of new fixes (larger caliber guns, new items, new sinking effects) , new ships, more characters. Plus the in the next patch, which I believe will be called Patch 2.1, there will be at least one new character, new models for pistols and muskets and a few bug fixes from the previous version, Patch 2.

Luke 159 has been working on the ship side of things alongside imput from modernknight. The COAS CM has work from various modders here at the COAS forums and has credited some work to modders outside this forum.

Ha ha ha ha....well, when Modernknight finds the time, hopefully that will change ;)

I'm still trying to tweak Davy Jones atm, he still fires his gun too fast.

Davy Jones? :8q You can play Davy Jones? :8q

I'm still working on that, but for the most part, yes you can. I was leaning towards making him an NPC, but atm it seems he will be a PC after all. Though you won't see him till the next patch for version two which I believe will be called Patch 2.1. I have a lot of stuff so far going into to this patch but I don't want to release anything untill Luke159 returns and can put his contributions to the mod into it.

I'm going to update the first post on this thread later in the day so it's more informative on what this mod and thread is about.

New damage textures.

Not bad, but is it possible to blend it in with the original? Because there you can also see the splintered wood around the hole.

Sorry i have nothing to add, haven't even played COAS since the vanilla patch to revert from RTBL to vanilla, family problems are a pain it doesn't help with the power cuts. I'm hopping to start modding again soon but not sure when, so you may aswell release the patch/version 3 when your ready when i have somethings ready i will let you know. :onya

Those damage textures look better. :will

Officerpuppy, the new cabin looks good too, i can't reply the the Pm you sent for some strange reason but anyway its a big improvement. :will

Glad to have you back, hope all is well! :yes

Well, then. I'll call it # 3 then, it should be ready by tonight or in a few days. I might play around with a few more things.

While working on the change log, it turns out it's actually patch 2 not three. I think what threw us off was that since we released two patches, vanilla and RTBL, that might of caused us to think this was a third patch.

I am currently uploading the RTBL version of patch 2. Whenever you get the vanilla version done I'll just update the shipsint and upload the vanilla version of patch 2.

Ah yes you are right, its patch 2 not 3 lol. Is the process of installing the COAS CM as follows.

COAS CM V2
COAS CM Patch 2

or will patch 1 be needed before patch 3 can be applied?

I've done the vanilla ship_init file now aswell. Here you go. http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?/pinks-hull-speeds-and-other-nautical-notions-t15285.html/page__pid__355751__st__0&#entry355751
