Build 14 patch 4 problem

Hello to everybody!

First of all I want to thank the creators of this great mod. You've done a very nice thing guys. You turned out the original game into a masterpiece!

My question is the following:
After I installed patch 4 I started a new game with Jack Sparrow. Every thing seems to work fine the only problem is when i'm trying to acess the deck of my ship ( the screen goes black or partially black I can see only the sky). I dont know how to solve this problem so maybe you can help me out.

Here is the list of the things that I've installed:

Build 13 Final
Build 14 alpha 9
Build 14 alpha 9-5
Build 14 alpha 9-5 patch 3 ( I Used the RUNME.bat during the installation )
Build 14 alpha 9-5 patch 4 ( I Used the RUNME.bat during the installation )

I'm using WINXP with last service pack
My system spec's are:
Pentium 2.4 512 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 5700LE
 
Did you let Alpha 9.5 run the RunMe.bat file? See here for the correct installation instructions.
If that doesn't work, enable error logging and post the contents of compile.log, system.log and possible error.log
that are generated after the error occur.

This is the reason:

I'm not sure why you don't have that file though; if one file it missing, others could be missing as well.
Please try reinstalling again as per the installation instructions I linked to.

You mean to reinstall patch 4 only or the whole build?

Another question is it cruisal to have the deck? Can I play without it?
 
Reinstall all if you can. Or wait until Alpha 10 is released the coming week.
I'm a bit worried about what OTHER files you're missing. :?

Suggestion: avoid installing patch 3 AND patch 4 togheter, because the first is included in the seconth.
and yes, every time there`s a new patch which includes the previous one you should re-install everything, or so i find better, because i bumped into many nasty bugs installing the way you did:missing files, corrupted .gtm files etc.
create a restore point, that is: install `till b14 alpha 9.5 and make a rar of the game directory, so everytime you have to install smth new, it takes 5 minutes to unzip\unrar.
then install the last patch and WIP on forums.
then....have fun.
