Hi,
This happened in previous build mods to 14 A9 Patch 2 if you tried to loot before the end of the fight and nathanial has sheathed his sword. try waiting until the end of the fight.

I think I've looted before the end of the fight in boardings; but I didn't sheeth my sword.
No need for that; F3 works just as well with drawn blade. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
Helllo I have a problem with build 14,9 probly becos my own fould.

I installed build 13 full first and it worked fine then i deleted the files program. recoureses ini and models and could not found the loations map and then installed build 14, 9 and patch 2.

the game works fine till I start a new game, it ore crahses ore it go's to the head srceen and when u go back ot the game u only can see a black screen.

Is it possebel to instal the mod agian? ore would that screw up the game even more? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

If you remove the Models folder your doom. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" /> its the decks folder in ...RESOURCE\MODELS\Locations that you must delete.

I recommend that you reinstall the game and follow the instruction <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?s=&showtopic=12809&view=findpost&p=307383" target="_blank"><b>here</b></a>. Also I don't know if Build 13 Full work well with build 14 Alpha 9, I suggest that you download Build 13 Final instead and do your installation with it.

I know Build 13 Full DOESN'T work well. Get Build 13 Final or your worldmap ships will be gray. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
And indeed don't remove the <i>whole</i> MODELS folder! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
Actualy i installed Final and not full small typing error <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

I try to put the models fodler back and reinstal build 14,9 and patch 2 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" />

Build 13 Final still rock by the way <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

It works now, so far <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bow" border="0" alt="bow.gif" />
 
An CTD after boarding a pirate ship, the captain agreed to join me as my officer:

I must note, I'm still playing with Patch 1.
 
That one isn't working from a very long time. It's better to take officers, not companions, and give them command of the ship back on ransack screen.

actually i`m re-installing everything and noticed that i have 4 pater jourdain_dialog file.
one .c and .h in standard\dialogs and one .c and .h in programs\dialogs.
so, should i move from standard-->to program\dialogs?
i try, let see if it works.

If you've got files in all those places, the error can't be because of a missing file. Then it would need to be an error in the file itself.
Did you get any messages in your log files when that problem occurred?
 
Was that the on-screen error log or the one you get from <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=9234" target="_blank">enabling error logging</a>?
Usually error logging gives you a clue what's wrong. Especially on dialog errors.
 
that`s the in game error.
of course, the log error too had the same statement.

the first two files coma from standard\storyline\dialogs
the others from programs\dialogs instead.

errr....wait: the files are inverted.
the dialog2.c and .h come from program\dialogs.
the normal .c and .h files from standard\storyline\dialogs.
