Mod Release AOP Super MOD

A short story. I gave my friend a PC game for his birthday (TOCA Race Driver 2). When I saw the list with Star-Force games, guess what? TOCA Race Driver 2 was on the list! My poor friend. After a couple of days I met him very sad, because his computer broke :woot ! I never asked him why and I never told him that he had the worst virus ever on his computer. That confirmed me that I shouldn't install SF-games. So, @Stallion,I may be in your crowd now, if I think about this, even if it happened a long, long time ago.

Cheers! downloaded, installed it but doesnt seem to have updated the game? I installed it under the same file as age of pirtates? along with patch 1.5 , started new game but still says running version 1.43 ?. How do I install it properly?

I've instaleed Supermod on vanilla version and cannot run it. Here's an error log, please have a look at it. Thanks in advantage. fjx

You installed it on the first Age of Pirates? The error.log suggests an actual code error, but I know that modpack works when installed properly. :shock

I've installed modpack on basic aop1, but during the installation thre were lots of messages about file "only for read" or something like that. I always chose an option to delete that atribute and proceed.

Do you have the game in Program Files? That always causes trouble. Move it outside, then try again.

I always have my games out of program files. BTW, my system is Win7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Ahoy Peter, is this mod still appropriate and active? i noted it was deleted from that link. just wanted to check as I hope to get it running..hope you are still around.

Pirates! Wanted to download the good strange old aop super mod I played a few years ago, but no, it's gone:monkeydance. There is the new super mod now and this is great :yes. I like NEW THINGS. New Ideas, great work. But does that mean older great work has to be abandoned? The new work could just stand next to the old now, that would just be game mod development history shown. I mean, the old super mod was not just version xx.x patch x.x, but it was THE one and only super mod for YEARS. A lot of people played it and yes, sometimes one feels like going back and having a look at what one was playing years ago. That's why CMV 3.2 was recently uploaded I think. It's old, but it's part of this AOP2 development history, so well done, I'm sure I 'll have a look at it now and then, because I used to play 3.1.5 and that was close to 3.2. The old super mod was really not perfect, but it's part of the AOP history and therefore it should stay available. Everyone can save what he likes, on his ows plates and sticks, that's true, and Piratesahoy does not necessarily have to be a museum. But I still don't understand it really, to be honest. As far as I am concerned, I'll have it somewhere, on a stick or whatever, but I think c'est dommage that it shall be on the graveyard of abandonware from now on :fiddle.

Edit: I'd vote for a download section with at least milestones of development anyway, for POTC, AOP and COAS.

Hello guys ! I am running the latest Supermod - version 4 and noticed something regarding the salary (monthly payment to my crew). I have uploaded two screenshots. The first one is the gold I have gained since last payroll and payment to crew. The second screenshot is taken just after the first one, when I have sold some goods to the merchant. My question is : Why the payment to crew jumped that sky high ? My crew number did not change, so that the payment I need to make to my crew does not have to increase at all ! ( I just sold goods, that is all ). Thank you very much for the help in advance !

I may have once seen something similar in PotC, which was due to the difference between a float and integer number.
Not familiar with the AoP code at all, so wouldn't know how to check or fix it though. :shrug

Us guys didn't do anything. The original Supermod was made by a member called CyberOps,
who got himself banned later for completely faking his development on a non-existent "Pirate Simulator" game.
