Another update from the distributor for NZ, yet again...

"Hi Hoodaya,

Just a quick email to let you know our suppliers have advised us today that the New Zealand release date for Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships ~ PC Games has changed from 17/04/2009 to 08/05/2009.

Our suppliers have indicated that this new date is looking solid -- here's hoping! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I know how long some of you guys have been waiting for this game to be released but you're gonna have to wait that little bit longer unfortunately. I wish they could set a solid date for release, but I guess the games industry love doing this kinda thing. However this doesn't necessarily mean that this will be the same date for release in Europe, Uk, America, etc usually things come out here later than in other countries.

Here, in Austria, the game will be released tomorrow, but one of my favorite stores got some copies today...

I'm still not sure if I should buy this or battlestations pacific.
I guess I will wait till some reviews pop up.

...but there seem to be no more delay with the release, that's why I was posting this.

Anyway, the game now officially <i>exists</i>.
As for reviews, it appears they're not quick with appearing, are they?

What I'd REALLY like to know are the following:
- Does the game have Starforce? (probably yes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> )
- Does the game have an open PROGRAM folder? (probably not <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> )
- Would the game run on my computer? (where's a demo when you need one? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> )
- How good is it? (when the friggin' thingey are any reviews going to appear??? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> )

Does Age of Pirates 2 have new ships ? Cause I saw screens on which there were all old ships...If it doesn't I will be very disappointed. Waiting for Captain blood then or what ?
