There ARE new ships as well as old. From what I've played in the russian language version it is worth getting, period.

If it winds up unlocked for modding as has been previously intimated will happen, this game will enjoy a long happy life.

Well, this solidifies it. COAS is definitely on the way, I just found it available for pre-order on Newegg.

so if this game is out in australia somebody have bought the game? is there a demo or something to test the game?

and what about a crack that removes that star force shit?
 
Demo? Don't think so. Crack? I'd be interested in one. I do think I should get that game, but I don't want to install any Starforce.

I really hope that CoAS will have that sailing like Sea Dogs sailing was.. and it was MUCH more immersive. Those islands in CoAS that I have seen from the pictures and sea and ships.. it looks much better than PotC. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> Water looks more like water and not just some reflective layer of sorts.
