Swamps: A bug that looks cool

It's more like a young boy, not a real small kid. The model name is "Diller". He's used only once in the game as Jordano in the animists quest. He's in Build 13 and up.

Oh him, counted him as a young man about 17 years old... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I use him for Charles Widem to, as several people refered to him as young i felt this model fitted him better than Old_man1 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> When i said we needed kids i was thinking 3 to parhaps 8 years old <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

i was thinking the same thing. the problem is, we haven't got the right shape of the faces for small children. there's alos no women we could use for children models, if you get my meaning.

Did anyone try to resize a guy model to little kid size with Inez' Tool? Might be worth experimenting with? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Maybe we could try to make all animals (almost, the big ones, like (if we make some) horses), into characters, which wouldn't attack you, but lunatic players (not necaserily anyone here) could attack them. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" />

so we could go hacking butterflies and squashing lizards? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />

Butterflies definitly wouldn't work. Characters don't really fly, do they?

Tried to resize man5, couldn't get the animation workin though <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> But it seems possible to make him into a child if anyone could get the animation working, and give him a retexture (we don't want a child with a six-pack do we? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> )

Did you do any experimenting with the "scale animation also" button? In theory it's possible to resize character models: High Sea Lass did it with Ronald. But how I am not sure. Using Inez Dias' Tool, obviously, but I don't remember if she used 3DS MAX in combination with the Tool anymore. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Hi ,
I,ve just rescaled the 'Diller' and 'Man5' models, to just about half size and the animations are ok, if thats any good to you.

If you want I'll do a texture job on them to make them look a lot younger, unless you want to have a go yourself Toft

damski.

Well, Damski, i guess that a texture made by you would be much better than by me (saw your gyspsycaptain texture <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />) Im not that good with textures <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> Would be pleased to see some child textures made by you <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

How about swampifying some jungle locations? Or shall we use that for Tia Dalma's shack only?

I can't really think of any other location that needs to be swampified, Tia Dalma's shack for sure though
