Spanish questline problem....

Ok, I work for the Inquisition, I go to curacao, talk to the merchant and the moneylender, I set of, capture the lugger with the moneylender's son, then head for panama to find the coworker of the merchant... He is not in the city and the quest says I have to search the premises... Panama has a labyrinth of jungles and I have been searching for hours....please help me understand what the hell the game wants me to do.....

2. Take your ship and travel to Santiago(Cuba). There go to the church and speak with the priest, ask him some stupid questions, until he tells u the Inquisition is below the church.
2.1 Get out the church, down the stairs, turn right and below them u gonnа see a door.
2.2 Go inside and behind some furniture, there's a pass to the Cardinal. Speak with him and take his mission. It's to find 3ppl and take from them 50K for their sins.
2.3 Get out of the tunnels and wait for one priest to come and speak with u about a book(later I�ll explain what is that book).
2.4 Travel to Curacao, there go to the store to find the first guy. He will offer u a deal, accept it.
2.5 Now go to Porto Bello, and from their by foot to the Panama city. GO to the store and speak with the guy there, then go to the tavern and speak with the guy there. Finally start searching the house one by one on the left side. (_in my case it was the 3rd). On first floor u get attacked by a kidnapper. he is easy to be killed, on the second floor are the other 2 kidnappers and the hostage (the guy needed by us).
<b>BE CAREFUL: When u enter the second floor room attack the center guy or he is gonnа one-shot kill u <img src="http://forum.piratesahoy.net/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /></b>
2.6 Speak with the guy and he is gonnа reveal u a secret about a lost book(and what a book!!!). U need this part of the quest, because this is gonna make your game <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
2.7 Now go to Bermuda, there speak with the Shipyard manager Alexis. Ask him to open u the dungeon.(the door at the left of his desk). He is gonnа warn u and open it.
<i>- If u have unfinished ship upgrades here and u don�t have the mats still, to start the conversation u must SWAP ships.</i>
2.8 Before enter bring 3 fighters. Equip them with pistols + health potions + ANTIDOTE !!! When u enter, just let your guards to kill all the skeletons, u just stay there and look the fight <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
2.9 When done go to the next room and u gonnа see a chest behind a locked door. U have to go to the right and pass behind the chest and enter to the room from the left side.

2.10 U gonna take many awesome items, take all, equip the pistols, the blade, be sure to take the BIBLE !!
2.11 Return to Curacao and go to the trader. U get the inquisitor money, but start a new talk about the book and u gonna receive 1 000 000 gold. (The other guy has told it's better receive a "super" armor, giving the book to the Cardinal, but this armor can be taken other way and now we need 1milion.)
