New Islands

I'm with the 'finish what we already got' crowd when it comes to the new islands, hell i'm even more with the 'try to finish a build13(full)' crew of devilish cutthroats and privateers. Lets polish what we have got to a nice sheen, irresistable to all good pirates, then have a go with adding extra bits.

oh nice job(whomever did it) on sorting the 'Take french captain to meet your aunts daughters' quest that went a bit odd when coupled with the extended Oxbay part - now atleast the soldiers in the extended Oxbay part become french with the rest of the colony, and the Captain knows to walk through that section, rather than teleporting <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

We have Cuba and Hispañola already.

That's Pirate_KK's work. I saw some code of his related to that and I was rather hoping it would indeed solve that weird issue. Apparently it does, so that's excellent! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Yes, i know we have Cuba.. But if we can't create an american coastline, maybe in the future we can create a big island and put the four cities in it...
 
Ref adding this amercian coastline thing - if we have an issue with landmasses contacting with the map border, what would happen if you left a small space(i'm not sure what the lowest denominator is in this case) all around the map edge, and just built with that in place. So in effect they would be islands, but hopefuly on the map screen you couldn't really tell, and hopefully the space you would need to leave would not be big enough to sail into?

Good question. Logically, your idea should work. But, Who can answer at your question is maybe the SLiB mod 's creator.
