My brothers mod

Could you post, both the Pirat11.tga and the Clanker.tga?

Or if not, then just the Clanker.tga should do.

Here, in a rush, couldn't get pirat11, sorry, but here's Clanker.tga:

All I can think is that the face now has low contrast and is colored like the clothing, so it will look like clothing.

1. Start by putting the original face back.
2. Then, check in GM viewer and in game, to see if it maps out onto the gm model ok.

3. If it works right, then I'd make only minor changes to the face and test it in game again.

4. Repeat #3 as often as you like.

Worked it out, was the same problem as with my Dauntless, the texture was being flipped vertically <i>and</i> horizontaly, so fixed it, and this is what we got:

EDIT. better pictures further on.

Interesting. We might be able to use him in addition to Cylon13's cursed sea skeletons somewhere in the Davy Jones quest, perhaps as some sort of "hero skeleton" or else as captain of the cursed corvette that we might one day use to replace the Black Pearl at Khael Roa, because having the Black Pearl here makes no real sense anymore with the film quests being made. Nice. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

More cursed sea characters would be welcome. I have a fight with a lot of those characters in Grand Cayman during the First Contact quest, so some more variety would be most useful here. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

what's THAT? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" /> barbossa looks decidedly murky and overboard-fallen-like. but i guess that's the general idea? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> looks good. and very grimey.

A close up of the character would show the quality or poor quality of the re-skin.

I'm finding it somewhat troubling that re-skin shots in poor lighting or from great distances are being posted and that on the basis of these, we are discussing additions to the Build.

A little trick: go stand against a wall, and then look at your crewmember from the wall; the camera won't go behind the obstacle, so you see him more closely <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Excuse me, but is my attachment space meant to be shared between all my posts ever? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

EDIT. here are the better pics:

Also, I accidentally deleted the download from my attachments, and now there isn't enough attachment space left, what am i meant to do?

For now I'll upload at another site, but it doesn't do pics, as far as i know, so this attachment space thing is really annoying, so could anyone say if there's anything I can do.

Uhm. Yes. The idea is that you remove old attachments you don't need anymore. Do it in My Controls > Manage Your Attachments. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />

Now he wants to do Bootstrap and he's wondering what skin you think he should start with.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Those are supposed to be barnacles, right?

He might want to work on those some more.
On the clothes, they look like stains and on the face ... well ... it looks like he just got a face full of bird shot.

Ok, he's going to try to re-do the barnacles, and wonders if you've got any suggestions on how he should do them?

thanks

Find a photo of the barnacles, and then cut and paste a bunch of them onto his face and clothes.

Okay, he changed the barnacles(some are a bit stretched)and here're the pics:
