I have some questions

It doesn´t seem to me all the ships surrender to me. But every time I am on the board of the hooked enemy ship there is only several dialogs with enemy captain instead of fencing skirmish between the two crew. But maybe I am mistaken and all the ships have surrendered to me so far. I don´t know. I will see further. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

But I have one more problem that troubles me quite much. When I am at sea map somehow I can´t exchange my view to look at map from higher distance. So I quite don´t know constantly where I am sailing. I never had such a problems before. What´s wrong here? It´s my fault in adjusting of keys or something different ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

the only thing i can suggest for your last question is resetting the controls and see if that helps. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> the key you need should be the TAB key.
 
it happened to me thrice. All the ships surrendered even before i could shoot them....i guess my character was too strong for the enemy.....it sucks sometimes, specially when you want to have fun sinking ships with the cannons

If you're recognized, you'll get a message when entering 3D sailing mode. The further the game progresses, the bigger the chance of being recognized. A Portuguese flag usually works very well for entering most ports, because they're friendly with pretty much everyone. You might want to check if the French ships are hostile to you before trying to anchor in the port though. The same applies when leaving port again, though this time it's pretty much a game of chance. Therefore I recommend saving before going back to 3D sailing mode. This whole mod was in Build 13 as well.

If they didn't surrender in 3D sailing mode, they might've surrendered upon being boarded. This shouldn't happen all the time though, especially not early in the game. You might want to set the SURR_GLOBAL_SCL scalar to a lower value.

Zooming out is usually done with the left mouse button and if you press Tab, you enter free mode and you can look around on the worldmap wherever you like. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
 
Thanks Pieter for your patient answers and to you Jack too and to all others too. The map works well now for me, it was my fault (wrong adjusting). So far Build 13 final works quite well for me. There is some minor bugs but still the game is playable for now and it is important for me and I think for many players. I think this version should be corrected a little yet and saved for all the times for players even if some new playable versions will be released in the future. In shipyards there is wrongly used the name culverines instead of carronades for short range cannons with big calibers. And I would have another question. I tried to open my shipayrds for all the ships but my beloved Mannowars can be bought only at Quebradas Castillas in shipyard now. What´s wrong here? Do I have adjusted anything badly? And I hope I won´t meet any cardinal bug which prevent me to play out the game to the end. I think the critical place can be capturing the fort of Greenfort as I can remember but I hope I will manage to pass this place in game. I only can´t to use some functions of my program System Mechanic 7 but I think I will be able to restrain to use some its delete functions for some time. In oposite case my game will stop working. Something is always deleleted here and POTC stop working. But it´s insteresting only POTC is always inflicted this way. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />

If that doesn't work, perform a Reinit (F11) after that. If that doesn't work, start a new game.

In the next Alpha I have changed this so that small towns sell up to class 2 ships and big towns sell up to class 1 ships and pirate shipyards sell only up to class 3 ships. This instead of class 3 ships from small towns, class 2 ships from big towns and class 1 ships from pirate shipyards like it was in Build 13. That didn't really make sense to me, but I suppose it was done to make it harder to get class 1 ships. However, with my Realistic Ship Purchase mod, you now need the rank of Admiral to be able to buy class 1 ships anyway, so that's quite hard enough and it gives players the opportunity to actually buy them again instead of being forced to capture them.

Now that you mentioned it, i wanted to know something. I installed the Build Mod 14 Alpha 6 and now several ships are considerated Navy Ships and i cant buy them. So my question is, to which ranks i need to be promoted so i can buy those ships?

I found a bug in my first game using the Build 13 Final, but then i started a new game and managed to complete ALL quests without any problem. I havent found any bugs, and if i found, they were so insignificant that i dont remember about them. The tip is to make one quest per time. I just wished that some things in the Build 14 Alpha could be added in the Build 13 Final, if there will be an Update 4 as Pieter said.
