The graphics, the 3d models, the textures, are in the FPK files in the assets folder. I think you already know this.
We need first of all, then, an fpk opener. How are the files inside the fpk files encoded? Are the images tga's, or another file format we can easily open, or are they further compressed or encoded?
If we can get an fpk opener, then an fpk recompiler is easy to create, as we'll know the format of the fpk files.
I wonder if any Firaxis people visit the forums, and if they do, perhaps they can give us some feedback.
