I love the Hawk.

I would say on the sails, try the swords bhind the hawk.

On the flag, just the hawk centered would work, or the hawk plus a bleeding heart, or one blade or hourglass something like that. What do you think?

Also do you think this might be better in two color white, or black on red or white on black.

I will maybe make the flag have the hawk and it will be standing on a sword, what colours should be in the background.

I have uploaded the flag and it's previews.

To find out what each sail is look at the previews.

<u><b>Sails</b></u>

1.To install sails go to <b><i>Pirates of the Caribbean\RESOURCE\Textures\Ships</i></b>

If you use all my sails you don't need to change the numbers, just paste them in to the folder
If you just want to use the hawk sails that is <b><i>sail_whole_white_pirate19.tga.tx</i></b>
Then paste it into the ships folder, but change the number 19 at the end to the next number that is not being
used, e.g. If you don't have any new pirate flags you would name it <b><i>sail_whole_white_pirate17.tga.tx</i></b>.

After you have done this go to your buildSettings file and open it, go about 3/4 of the way down and you should find this:

On this one i have higher numbers for the whole black and whole white, that is because i have custom sails.
When you put a flag in the ships folder, the number must go up by one, otherwise the game won't put the sail in the game.
E.g. If I put a new sail in that is called <b><i>sail_whole_white_pirate20.tga.tx</i></b>,
i would change <b>#define QTY_LOGOSAILS_WHOLE_WHITE 20</b>

to <b>#define QTY_LOGOSAILS_WHOLE_WHITE 21</b>,

The number that tells the game how many of a certain type of sail there are must always be one more than the number of sails you actually have, so if my sail is called <b><i>pirate20</i></b> the build settings must say <i><b>WHITE 21</i></b>


<u><b>Loading</b></u>

2. To install the Loading screen go to <b><i>Pirates of the Caribbean\RESOURCE\Textures\Loading</i></b>, and make a backup of Loading.tga.tx.
Then put my loading screen in the folder.

<u><b>Flags</b></u>

3. To install the flag, go to <b><i>Pirates of the Caribbean\RESOURCE\Textures</i></b>, and backup flagall.tga.tx.
Then put my flagall in.

<u><b>Skin</b></u>

4. To install the Blaze re skin go to <b><i>Pirates of the Caribbean\RESOURCE\Textures\Characters</i></b>.
Backup the original and put my one in.

The sails are absolutely excellent! The flag is pretty good too. Please don't take this as citicism, but I do find the flag to look a bit modern-like still. What if you put that hawk on a white background with the blades crossen between. Then it looks more-or-less as a pirate flag, only with a hawk and blades instead of a skull and crossbones. The red, blue and especially the yellow bar make it look like the flag of some modern small nation island. I do love your work though. No matter what I say, I still think it's all excellent! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" />

I have tried what you said but when i do it the swords are very faded and i am not sure if you will be able to see them in game.

Update: I couldn't get the swords to be brighter so what about this, if you like it i will upload it separately.

This new look for the forum appeared a couple of hours ago at the most. If you don't like it, you can change it back to what it was.

I think the forum looked like this once before.

Is anyone noticing that the forum seems to load pretty slowly or is it just my connection?

How would I change it back?

The forum did look like this some time ago and it does load slow as well, but that should be solvd in about a week, according to Keith. You can turn it back with the menu at the bottom of the page, right above the ads. It says "Bright Pirate Fluid (Import)". Change it into "IPB 2.1 Default".

I like it like this, i am uploading it now, the previews are in the 'Captain Sir Henry Morgan' Folder on the ftp. Also if you use the new <b>flagall</b> file you must rename it from <b>flagall2</b> to <b>flagall</b> before you put it in the POTC folder.
