well, My idea is to make A "NEW" and yes that is posible!!! We allredy got a head, And My friend just started with the hat.... I think we should use the body of razor...

that's the body from the AWE game. kinda incomplete and it would be illegal to use it.
 
aha, Then I Model a totaly new model, Well, Use parts from a human and replace his one foot and arms and head
 
And be sure to check if the model works in the game at all before doing too much work on it. Otherwise you might do a lot of work for naught. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_confused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="icon_confused.gif" />

That Dutchman looks like a slightly modified version of one of the earlier versions, either the one in Alpha 6, Alpha 7 or the one in the Alpha 7 additional download that can be found <a href="http://www.s31clan.com/pietersmods/potc_downloads/additional/VanderdeckenDutchman.exe" target="_blank">here</a>.

Got a problem with build 14 update 2, when i return from Oxbay after killed Massoini (The drunk french captain) I can't report to Silhard, well i can report, only the thing i can report is that Oxbay is attacked, and that i have aleready done....
 
ah. i've seen that one. it's got something to do with missing a trigger when you start the main quest. i think it was something like starting the game at a different place and then doing.... something. don't remember what. try finding it out, as this is a not that uncommon bug.

Apha wip is an incompleete version only for modders, and it's not supposed to be used for playing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" /> so unless you can fix those bugs by yourself i suggest using another version...The most stable ones are build 13full and build 14 alpha 6 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> But there are still a few irritating bugs in alpha 6 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sad" border="0" alt="icon_sad.gif" />
 
Toft is very much correct. Alpha 8 WIP 1 is called so because it is an Alpha, which means it is a work in progress version that is too unstable to be called a Beta, let alone final release. AND it's a Work In Progress (WIP), so that suggests it's even worse. Eventually we will release Alpha 8 itself, which will hopefully be a lot better. Unfortunately we have a lot of troubles with that because we now have Maximus' and Pirate_KK's version which are both pretty different and each has some bugs and some fixes that the other one doesn't have. We need to merge them and use the best of both, but that is really complicated. Maximus or Pirate_KK need to do that themselves, because it's too complicated for me. Is it possible to download each of them separatly? And if it is, on top of what Build version should it be installed?
 
What do you want to install seperately? Both Maximus' and Pirate_KK's game versions? I am considering just releasing them so that you have got SOMETHING new to test, even if it's far from perfect. Not sure when I'll do that though; probably not within a week.
 
build 14 alpha 6. it says so in the installation instructions, but i guess you didn't read the FAQ.
 
i have installed build mod 14 alpha 6 and done the runme bat twise, but when i start the game its loading build mod 13, what am i doing wrong??????????
 
The loading screen has not been updated for Build 14 yet. You are not necessarily doing anything wrong, as long as you do get the proper Alpha name in the bottom left corner of the main menu, the game runs properly and you do notice the new gameplay features of Alpha 6.
