Mod Release AOP Super MOD

the new version of the mod version 1.1 will be out before the weekend, simply install your game and then install the mod and that will be it mate.

Do I have to reinstall the game, or can I just uninstall Super Mod 1.0, or, can 1.1 be installed over top of 1.0?

Starforce will definatly not be in the supermod, i hate that crap. In my own game im not even securing it simply reason, if they like my game they want to buy it anyway and even if u secure it it can always be cracked so im not spending a dime into securing it with a bunch of *****.

Ok now to the mod, i am awaiting to see if others have changed, modified, fixed or added anything to the jungle, if not then with some minor fixes it will be the same as last time except those ladies that showed up kinda weird, those have been fixed.

Changed it so when u have a different name in the game that your new name get used everywhere.

But i did not add any new things to it yet, it's a lot of bug fixes that are in there.

I was just counting and i came at a total of 133 bug fixes i did myself, including fixing the system beeps and a lot more.

I took the few bug fixes that did work from the patch, which where only 4 bug fixes grrr.

I also took the new Interfaces they made and they are in the mod to,

Took the new textures they made of the grass and added that.

1.House loading screen as each house has 1 but there is some russian text on them

Managed to fix some things but the house loading screen i have not managed to find the text yet, maybe if someone found it they can give me the location and i will change it, i did not have much time the last week to look trough all the files, if someone know where it's located in potc then that would be great because it's the same settings.
 
so does that mean that your supermod will bypass starforce so i don't have to install it? as i own the game but, like you, i don't believe i should be made to install starforce if i don't want to just to play something i have paid for.

Also will you be working on a new mod to work with the latest patch? as i patched it and as no no-dvd file is out for the new version yet if i wanna play it means installing starforce and i've already explained where i stand on that.
 
Like i said before make sure u have a fresh install of the game do not patch it with the patch but use the supermod which includes the good things from the patch and no u do not need starforce then.
 
Cyberops, You da MAN!!

Now, here are a couple of questions for you. I have some small talents as a 3D modeller, have we figured out how to add new ship models and textures? Have you traced down the ship modifications, so we can tweak how they work, whats available and perhaps add some new ones?

Thats just a quick check.

Really looking forward to this next version of SuperMod!

heya guys, im new here, first of all thanks alot for the awesome mod, really love it

second of all, when i talk to a pirate... and demand ransom, he says he has no choice... then when i click continue voyage, the screen fades out then the game crashes, any ideas?

right, just one more question if i may, will my save game still work with the mod from a fresh install?
 
No that is what i said u need to start a new game

as for the progress it will be available this coming weekend.
 
Just posted this on the Playlogic forum; maybe you can look into this too:
"Just forgot to say this: Did you noticed when some of your cannons are blown, the others are reloading faster? It shouldn't matter if you reload 1 cannon with 3 gunmen of 10 cannons with 30 gunmen or 20 cannons with 60 gunmen... but not in Age of Pirates. If you reload your cannons for (i.e.) 60 seconds and you have 10 cannons on every board blowing 2 cannons from one board reduce the time for reloading the remaining 8 cannons to 48 seconds. I captured man-o-war with 100 copper cannons, but most of it cannons were blown up. And guess what - the few remaining cannons were firing as machineguns"
 
My spiegelretourschip and brig are as a skin and seperate model ready, but i still can`t get them ingame PROPER, i have tried it with the brig, and you can see the brig in port, but as soon as you enter the sea mode, you are stuck in the island and can`t do anything.

No, before patch. I am tired to start new games and deleted the game, but definitely will try it with the new version of the supermode.
I noticed it by chance - I fired both boards at the same time and one cannon exploded. Then the cannons started to reload and the cannon bars started to turn bright green. The board which had 1 cannon less loaded and the cannon bar went dark green. But the other board bar still was light green. Initially I dismissed this untill I captured the man-o-war with most of it's copper cannons destroyed and started to wonder why its few remaining cannons load so fast.

It seems to me the reload times listed are not calcualted by "cannon", but by "cannon bar". Say you have cannons with 120 seconds reload time this means the cannon bar loads for 120 second. But with blown up cannons the cannon bar is shorter and it loads quickly. Which is nonsense, of course.
 
I have got the ship ingame proper but there is no crew at the deck on the moment, so you can sail with her, BUT without crew on the deck, i shall look at it, and i will put the 2 ships on the ftp this weekend.

I looked into my walk file, and i found out that it contains shipwalks out of potc, like xebex2 an BLACKPEARL and galeoth.
 
Wonderfull thomas, then i gues the supermod v.1.1 will be released after i have those files so we can add them to the mod which would be great <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Here is my brig, only he hasn`t got crew, and i can`t get him show up in the shipyard yet, SO it hasen`t got a good picture yet.
 
wonderfull work, now if u managed to get the crew and get it to show up in the shipyard then we can place it in the mod
