Yes there was. I got it last year.

Problem is that it causes a crash when used with any ship model.
This is just like what I got with the first version of Kazeite'a Fleut railing.

i like frigates too, but they are a little bit to small... its a shame that there isnt a ship like the Acheron from master and commander, fast, strong and much firepower.

Actually there is a reason. It's kind of an inside joke though. I was in the bookstore with my brother and a friend and my friend walked up to me with a romance novel called "Lord Perfect". The picture on the cover looks almost exactly like me but without the butt chin. I almost felt like I was looking in the mirror. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I suppose I am kind of a perfectionist type of person though. I like the packet brig though and most of the big ships. The battleship is pretty nice, possibly even my favorite ingame ship, but it definately would be nice to add a wheel and maybe some other stuff. A wheel would be especially welcome on the frigates/corvettes. And the corvette design in the game is so "modern" that I think such a design should have a wheel, even if it's not on the timeline (the ship design isn't on the timeline either <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ). But, personally, I like the napoleanic era the best.

And the Acheron was essentially an American frigate. If you wanted, you could just modify the stats for a normal frigate to be more like an American frigate, but it would be nice to actually have a model for an American frigate, though they do look quite "modern" and industrial compared to similar ships of the time period.

well, the frigates in the game actually ARE sort of super-frigates (the american ones), due to the amount of guns. i always thought that battleships where hideous, but the firepower of the things literally stunned me the first time i had one. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> i just love em for it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=")" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />
