This must be debated though. A good debate is healthy for the soul. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
Morgan in his diplomatic way has asked us to STOP. This presents a conundrum. Deciphering the true meaning of his STOP could prove to be difficult. STOP can mean a temporary pause, such as stopping at a stop sign temporarily prior to moving on; or it can mean a termination of a specific action. However, frustration can build up in a person attempting to determine exactly what Morgan meant with his request. Are we to terminate, discontinue, halt, cease, finish, or is it to be a complete cessation of our discussion. Or, could he mean to say we should interrupt, pause, check, or temporarily suspend these discussions. Quite possibly, Morgan is requesting specific stipulations be put into place prior to continuously debating this matter without it becoming contentious.
 
If we were to honor Morgan's request it could lead to unrest here in this thread as debate would be cut off. We would then not know what could be discussed that may lead to stress in some and anger in others. We cannot spend our time walking on eggshells. All conversations will not please everyone all the time. My advice is to forge ahead with our discussions and hopefully draw Morgan in to them, where he will experience enough brain damage that his protests will stop. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

You used the word phooey (incorrectly I might add as this word is not hyphened <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" /> ) to direct contempt and or scorn. Is this the word we are going to discuss by exerting mental effort in diverse explanations as to its exact placement in verbal communication?

you guys really should see a psychologist. i wonder how long it would take before HE goes nuts.
 
A psychologist may be able to help in this matter. However, this is probably the result of having to much polyunsaturated oil in my system, or is it polyurethane. I do not know for sure as I get confused or is it confuzzled. Or maybe it is caused by my primogeniture within the family I was raised. This is all food for thought and quite possibly the subject of a good debate.
 
Hmmm. You blame this condition on being the firstborn. Interesting. Not being firstborn myself I don't know what's causing this in me so I think that your theory may well have to be shelved for now until a more representative sampling can be made from others who share our word association. I certainly hope that you do not have polyurethane in your system, though it would probably explain a lot. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> As for taking the blame for your galimatias, I'm sorry, Meigger, I cannot do that. You had to have had this ability deep within yourself in order for it to bubble up to the surface and be expresssed in this manner. However, we need to ask ourselves if we should continue Morgan's consternation or call a deliberate cessation

I agree. Any poor unsuspecting soul who stumbles across this thread can have but only one course in their immediate future even if they only have perused through a few posts. Intensive and extensive therapy. That "youtube" doctor seems to have a loose handle on therapeutic remedies. However, an esteemed therapist, like the one in the GEICO commericals would probably work better. After all look what she has done for the cavemen. They now will have their own TV show.

Maybe Morgan should contact her to determine her availability for a session or two. After all therapeutic manipulation can assist in overcoming consternation. However, I have been told hemicrania's can occur if the approprach is not handled correctly by the therapist. A bad approach could bring on the onset of mystical creatures which Morgan would possibly see everywhere he goes. This could possibly force Morgan to want to study mythology. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />
