I've been through storms, twisters and hurricans, battled enemy fleets and pirates, but the worst bad luck I have is when I have to battle Seven enemy vessels in the dulldrums. Its hard to board enemy vessels when ther be no wind a blowing. Even in arcade sailing mode I get this and the battles last a long time even using the R and G keys. I usually end up having to slowly,slowly turn me vessel and blast the other ships out of the water. Watching my gold sink to the bottom of the ocean and leaving the battle with a badly damaged ship. Oh well, any battle you can sail away from is a good battle, right mateys.

I hate it when I'm testing a mod, and all I want to do is sail from one place to another, and I keep getting caught in a storm! I also hate it when you beat the Black Pearl and are sailing back to Redmond, and Silehard escapes... GAWD!!!

That one happened to me over and over again because I was testing a mod that fell right within that timeframe. I got so sick and tired of it taking so much time to beat the Black Pearl that I altered the code so it only had about 100 HP, and sunk it with my first volley. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Ah, you gave me a good idea. Chance of escape should be less at sea and more when near land.

Once I recall him doing it when I was out in the middle of the ocean, and I thought, well there he goes, off to the sharks, those swimming lessons I gave him won't help him NOW!

mmm I once was so screwed for money on shore I had to sell everything including my ship and weapons just to get off the damn island with enoguh resources to get to a more friendlier island, in which i had a nap in someones house and woke up poisened ...

I JSUT GOT INTO SOME BAD LUCK!!! ive been playing since 9PM its now past 3AM & my last save was 10PM..& i found a monk who gave me a cross & then i couldnt save while i still had the item..i tried to find another monk to give it back wioth no success....grrr no saves for me, but i carried on with no probs until i get to the part whare i have to find raol, whatever its called just after the prisoner quest where he escapes...so yeah i go into the house & then my game screws up, all i can do is move mouse up & down, cant turn left or right or walk!!!! this is the 4th time ive been this far & had to `re-start` due to filme mods... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> sucks
