Oh great! That's something to look forward to! Do either of you have even the slightest idea of how long it would take for me to turn into a skeleton?

Hang on, how can you turn into a skeliton if you gave away the cursed coins to the BP people on redmond? Thats weird....

I think the curse idea was a little bit on the hinky side anyhow - even if you don't have the coins, because you had them, you're still going to instantaneously go to a skeleton (sorry, Sir Christopher!) when the dreaded date arrives...

I imagine it to be a process somewhat like the one shown in the movie "The Last Crusade" (Indiana Jones) - when you drink from the wrong cup, you just go to dust... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
 
But wasnt that basicly instant?

I got an idea for a new island now! you have to go to Isla de Muerto and let some blood over the coins to stop you becoming a skeliton, and that could be the 2nd main quest! You have to find a Jack Sparrow who knows where it is, and a Will Turner to get rid of the curse! And you could have to fight the BP again, but this time its stronger!

There's this man on Falaise de Fleur who tells you he was part of the Black Pearl's crew when they found the coins and that at first, the crew started murdering each other (like that can happen when they're all immortal; but apparently they didn't quite understand that) and only after that change into skeletons. If I have time, I'll be changing that dialog file so that he tells you something that actually <i>could</i> have happened, considering the workings of the curse. Also: Touching or owning a cursed coin won't curse you; there's only one way to get yourself cursed and that is by taking a coin out of the cursed chest yourself. And to lift the curse, every coin must be returned to the chest and everyone who has taken a coin out of the chest must make a blood offer. Only then is the curse lifted.
(I know Catalina doesn't totally agree with me on my explanation of the workings of the curse though <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> )
