Unkillable Fort??

Hi there, Im trying to destroy greenford fort, as i must do in the main quest, but the fort wont take any damage!! i aim correctly on the cannons yet none explode, i have a warship whit 32 ib cannons, how do i kill this ship?

This is the best solution
 
Aim for the top part of the ramparts, and use CANNONBALLS, not bombs. They will do the most damage from the furthest away... You need to take out the fort cannons and they are at the top of the walls... You MUST aim in FIRST PERSON to get the targeting correctly, or else you will end up hitting the land or lower on the walls which won't do a darned thing for ya...

Lol i always use first person i got about `6-8` in accurasy....cant remember....had one or 2 too many..., il try useing cannonballs
 
saying that the fort has no damage at all is weird . It has to have some damage somehow . did you have the right conversation with danielle at the light house before attacking the fort ??

i talk to her about learning silehard to not mess whit me blablalballb, then i get auto transported to sea in my ship and a pick sail to green ford fort,
 
Iggly , Why I have the feeling that you are missing some part of the main quest ?? Can you tell me what was the last few thing you have done before attacking the fort ?? Just let me catch up with you .

hey iggly, i promise you this is nothing to do with firepower, if greenford fort is invincible then there is a part of the quest you haven't completed. if you've got danielle with you then you <b>won't</b> ne able to defeat greenford fort; you have to drop her off at the lighthouse first...
 
YAHO! i did it i manged to kill of to 59%! aye this will be a great day.. if they havent killd me, i caouldent move me warship, me was a siting duck! all the crew dead! i was a ship whit just hull and cannons!
 
Congratulation for capturing the fort <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> but you know there is a stratigies to capture the fort without taking back fire from it so your ship take no damage at all and you save your crew for sword fight after ..
