To be able to play while attending other things with pc

Hello, I'm playing the game without Global Map and with ''Advanced sailing mode'' and ''DirectSail mode'' to be able to experience a more realistic game experience. The problem is sailing takes so much time with theese settings. And I would like to be able take care with other stuff during sailing. But whenever I press alt tab to watch a movie or read some stuff game pauses itself. Are there any ways to avoid this situation? Making a change in game folders etc?

Hello, you can try starting the game in windowed mode and not in full screen. I don't know if it will work for you.

@Hammie made some adjustments to Beyond New Horizons to support exactly this.
I don't know too what extent that works in TEHO or Caribbean Legend though.
