Tips for EIC

Ok just a few tips I have picked up while playing the game, hopefully some other will add to the list

1. Diamond, Gold and alike dont weigh much and they are close to home ports being on the west of Africa, best to use a fast ship that will turn around profits quickly and outrun pirates than a heavy ship as you can hold as much as you want as the trade item is so light.

2. When using Auto trade, your ship enter port and auto buys some random cargo along with merchandise you require to complete mission quest. This results in your ship having to make extra trips to home port. Switch to Patrol mode just before ship arrives at destination port and home port, allows you to manualy enter port and manualy buy and sell cargo you require.
Note: do not use patrol mode for sailing to destination ports for buying and selling cargo as ship speed is reduced, allowing you to be jumped much easier.

as a guide for determaning best value for your trade routes.
4. As soon as you can, give your captain the navagator skill, it speeds him up by 20% which makes your trade runs alot quicker.
