have anybody done this quest?

its that quest were you have to steal some diamonds or something from salvatores house..

so i am supposed to find his wife at the church.. but she is never there.. i found the house and i talked to both of them.. nothing happend. i got no more to say to them and the quest log has not been updated..

i can talk to them in a way that will make salvatore hostile but then the quest ends... and i get nothing..
 
It is a long quest with many part in it But you need take start words with one rumor from one pirate in othe place
Else - it is not a quest - it's simple NPC wo any quest
 
well some pirate guy told me about those diamonds. and well i got a quest, i was supposed to find the house and talk to the wife. but i am stuck. no more dialog with the wife or that houseband. i she is never at the church either... so i killed salvatore and ended the quest..
 
on the same quest, im still stuck on finding the house (already been in there and talked to isabella) went to the churc and talked to the priest , got bored trying to figure it out and that guy downstairs i cant even kill cause he is invul

Ah well guess ill keep on doing quests for morgan

yep i dunno what to do either when you get the quest it says talk to the priest, you talk to the priest and there is no quest update at all. so i headed to the house talked to the mr and the mrs both friendly (quest blog does mention to befriend them) but no way you can steal anything because they never leave the place and the husband is psychic even if his back is turned he will see you even peek into any containers or pick most anything up.

according to ign blog on the game there is a romance line for isabella also but no clue how to advance the quest at the start short of peeving the immortal husband off nor do i think robbing the wifes house will get you any booty in the end :p.
 
no booty is like no care! but you can kill the housband. you must enter the bedroom without talking to him, and he will be very hostile like. but not immortal. then you can loot his sword and gun. both of them are very nice. well i think that depends on your lv..

ahh thanks will give it a shot.

well after you have talked to him and her the first time. if you go back and just run up the stairs, all he does when you meet him again is tell you "your spending too much time with my wife, lets make this appear a respectable house." and locks his wife in her room LOL.

then i went back after that if you ask to see his wife, you tell him you got a note from her relatives, i did this 4 x in the same afternoon, plan on going back another time maybe, but seems it is either broken or undoable if you take the initial quest log advice and befriend the two of them......

i even tried thieving something to see if he was killable yet and nada.

Next Goto the Church

Next goto San Juan and rescue her brother.. anymore and im spoil this ... im stuck at a part after this thats a timed quest
 
yea lol i found it, having a 80k bounty on my head from spain and some big ships i can't get near a harbor of theirs without a war breaking out, but wandered into the store and ran into her on my last visit. thanks.

i just sleeped on my ship the 2 months but i found a way to cheat both quest by editing debugger:p now i can go forward in time and back in time lol

lol nice just gonna work on getting my bounty up with spain their bounty hunter fleets have like 8 ships in them atm.
 
I am upto the bit where you have to intercept the ship that carries Isabella to get executed, caught up with her but after you capture the ship she decides to die and you have no way of rescuing her cos she doesnt believe you. Are you meant to grab some sort of evidence to prove your innocence? or is she supposed to die?

you had to loot the letter off her brothers body, when he was killed, i suspect you missed that. if not i don't know, on the boat you show her the letter and she comes with you.

ah bugger it, yea i did miss that. the only saves that i have left are after the brother gets killed. is there any way i can restart a quest line? or is that pretty much the end of the line....?

hmm this is why i wished the actual command console was enabled in the non russian versions, because you can miss stuff like this especially the way bodies pile up and are hard as heck to search sometimes.

you could edit the debugger.c file F26 and F27 are open in that file so you could say search for letter and find the right one in the items list, copy the syntax out of the manowar cheat for add an item to player inventory, and put the name of the letter item there and cheat it into your pack. just make sure you backup the original in case you mess it up your first time (i have done that).

only way i can think to work around it at the moment.
 
how to reach ship with Isabella? I spoke with Attila at Bermudas, he said that I have 15-16 days to go from Bermuda to Portobelo. It was not easy, but I reached Portobelo in 14 days, waited 2 days at sea and I did not see any ships there. Then logbook said, that I did not catch ship before it arrived to Portobelo..
 
well save before you leave bermuda firstly, reload trying to get a favorable wind if your making good progress across the sea create a new save about mid way in case you run into a storm when you meet it (done that not fun) hope no bounty hunters catch you, or possibly pay them off before you start this chase.

when you get about 3/4 of the way to portobelo you should get attacked by a pirate fleet around there if you are quick enough and then either by luck or on purose i always seemed to enter the fight near the ship she was on. board it, take out the rest of the pirate ships or run for your life.

also helps i suppose if you got a quick ship to make the voyage, like having a manowar trying to do this probably not going to work out too well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />.
