I am really really looking forward to sailing this ship. Currently the only fluyts with correct sails are the frigate6 and fluyt4. They are the fluyt of war and light fluyt in game.

Can somebody explain me how to download this ship? I've dowbloaded an ftp commander (not from piratesahoy download section, because the link is dead) used login details from this thread:

But I can't find the Derfflinger in pgargon's folder. All other ships are there, except the fluyt.

P.S. I'm currently working on a model of a brigantine Castell Friedrichsburg. A forum thread will be opened in a few days.

I've downloaded GOF at last, but still have a problem. I have a russian version of COAS only and can't install GOF on it :( Maybe someone can place the files somewhere on file share? I would be very grateful for that!

In GOF, If you go to RESOURCE/MODELS/ships , that will at least get you to all the individual ship models, textures, etc. and you could extract them and rename them as needed for your Russian version. I think posting COAS to a share site would be the same as piracy, and I don't think anyone here at PA is willing to do that. If you search around, there are some existing Torrents and other places where free downloads are available.

Will this ship make it into POTC? I'm currently sailing fluyt4, which is an early version of this ship.
 
I think Armada has her conversion on his to-do list.
There's a couple more of Pgargon's ships that we don't have in there yet either.
 
Yes, sorry, I've been meaning to convert this and a couple of pgargon's other ships, but I've been distracted with other things recently.
I'll sort her out ASAP. ;)
 
Don't worry about it. You just got out of school and now have other priorities.

Ha... that sort of helps, but doesn't help, if you get me meaning.
By distracted, I really meant with other projects for PotC.
I have more time on my hands now that I have several weeks off, so I have a few things I'd like to work on and try out while I can (like figuring out exporting through Maya... :modding ).
 
I'm not pressed for time on this one; anywhere in the next three to four months would be nice. :cheeky
 
Not yet, sorry. Too many other projects going on at the same time. :wacko:
I will aim to get this and the Dutch Pinnace versions done within the next day or two.
They'll be included in Patch 7 if we decide to release it, or they'll be in a separate ship pack before Beta 2.

With two ships down for now, I thought I would start on the Derfflinger. But I can not find her on the FTP. Is there a complete file somewhere so I don't have to dig through GOF to get everything? :mm :hmm
