guys i wonder it will be better if the kraken can be called if u have the flyingdutchman to finish off fleeng ships? and the only way to beat the dutchman is by killing the karaken first or o sink or capture the dutchman?

then i guess we should start working now pls just teach me how u do the scripting and what program do u use to build this mod im a game editor a little expirience though......
 
If you want to do coding, you must know C/C++ (because scripting language used by Storm Engine 2 is "kind of" C++). To do so, you only need a text editor (i.e., Notepad++ which use is highly encouraged on this site, but in fact any will do, even system notepad).

To make or edit textures you need TX Converter which can compress *.tga image into *.tx, a formatused by a game.

To work on models, you'd need Maya 5 with an appropriate plugin from Akella. There's not many people here who know how to do it properly though.
