oh, what the hell? there goes another 700 MB into thin air. where does it GO? even when i add up the size of all folders on my C drive, i still don't reach the amount it says those folders take up.

also, it seems the aveyond series has improved quite a bit. i actually recommend trying the Orbs of Magic mini-series. part one functions as the introduction, and part two is the first half of the main story (even though it can basically stand on it's own in terms of plot). it's got some nice shockers in store. do prepare yourself for an endless amount of fantasy RPG clichés, although they're not nearly as facepalm-worthy as in it's predecessors. in fact, they used them to their advantage this time and even averted a few in ways you wouldn't expect. another interesting feature is that you have the option to continue a savegame from part 1 in part 2, once you've finished part 1.

part 3 comes out in november. i wonder how it'll continue the plotline while still coping with the multiple endings from part 2.

I think I'll stick with Mass Effect it's a shooter with RPG elements, effin great game, with a good story and your decisions affect the game.

wow. aveyond kicked itself in the nuts this time. the series always reuses the sprites, and since they have so many, it doesn't matter. however, this time it had some rather hilarious unfortunate implications.

there is an insignificant sidequest where you have to fetch a milkpail for a milkmaid who had lost it. when returning it to her, you get a supply of milk as a reward, a healing item. nothing wrong with that, right? guess again. apparently, the creators had failed to notice that the cow standing there was actually a bull. xD: oooooooh, nasty. xD:
