i built a second prototype today. this one can tilt it's hip and ankle joints sideways as well, which should be exactly what i need to fix the balance problems. i won't be posting a picture, since i don't have the main cranks attached yet, but i think i could post something in roughly two days from now, maybe three.

really though, if i'll ever make a bigger one, it's going to be almost completely without electronics. the only electric component in this one is a single electric motor. i use huge amounts of gearboxes and levers in my inventions, but it sure looks impressive. the reason for this is pure reliability. as long as you've got your engineering straight, mechanical devices will always work. electrics need the slightest flaw and they won't do spat.

the design i have now will very likely be the perfect design for this kind of machine. there's literally nothing i can improve upon it, except for one thing. i do know how to do it, but i'll need a bigger machine to do that. not really a problem though. it'll work all the same. pictures will come in a few minutes.
