yep, the game works again. made almost 1K in the first pilly. not bad, not bad at all. seems like there's been a few nifty updates too. i should have checked the ocean i joined before i registered though. i used to be on Viridian, now i'm on Hunter.

yeah, it is. it can be boring at first, but once you make some progress and start joining crews on a pillaging trip, it gets fun. frigates can be pretty cool. it's not easy for a single person to effectively command 70 real people in battle. some of the blockades have hundreds of people taking part all at once. boarding battles are HUGE, but if you win, the loot often exceeds 100K for the ship's stash if you're lucky. what i find so interesting about this game is that NOTHING is run by NPC's. the whole economy is run by actual people, some own shops, some work in them, others own whole islands, you can do shipwrightery, tailoring, brewing, blacksmithing, alchemy, anything.

if you would be interested, the game has a reference system where the person you refer to recieves 500 gold to start with. and the referrer gets 1500. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

almost a year, yes, but i've only just started playing it again. i stopped somewhere after last xmas because of lag.

i've already joined a crew as able seaman. officer should take a month or so, like last time. when's halloween? the halloween event is always fun.

yeah, already having skills while technically being a noob is fun. you always get challenged by players thinking you're a noob and then you kick their ass. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
