i'd more see that as a sinkifier. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> actually, i did put a few round holes in the bulwarks for oars, in between the cannons. should look pretty cool. the main deck and half deck are finished. now i need to make the fore deck and hull. there's also another problem: the main mast i always use is way too high. chances are i'll have to make a wooden mast to fit inside, which might be a good idea anyway, as those brackets that come with the component prevent me from effectively using halliards. the arse of the thing is pretty ugly though. it's supposed to be far more streamlined. right now it's just flat. i've always loved the hull of a chebec. it's amazingly streamlined, and that huge overhang on the back just looks cool. apart from that, it's got a very long curved stem and skeg, meaning that the bow has, in effect, a ram above the waterline, which follows the line of the bowsprit. it's in fact a clipper bow.

Speaking of ships, I'm stuck wandering around in a British Frigate right now (it's too bloody slow for my liking).
