well. the drawing of Julia is finished. i think. there's something not quite right yet, and i can't quite lay my finger on what it is. i'll figure it out.

i'm not sure if the last batch arrived. it was pretty big, and hotmail has a tendency to ignore all messages that exceed 9 MB, though 10 MB is the limit.

the drawing is the easy part. getting it to her without a major goof-up is the problem. that could take a while. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> in the meantime, i COULD write a letter on the other half of the piece of paper. that would be pretty daring for my doing, and i do NOT like it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> makes me way too nervous to be healthy. as for the drawing itself, this is without doubt the most accurate drawing i have ever made. but the problem is not making a human face. it's making the face look like the person in question, and it doesn't do that quite enough.

They all got through - the problems were likely caused by Canada's biggest ISP, Bell, who owns most of the phone and cable lines in the country. They've started to throttle things they deem as P2P activities, even if they aren't. The internet's become practically useless during the course of this past week. Even those who have other ISPs (like me) suffer, as the other ISPs rent the lines from Bell - and half of them have their own restrictions in place.

okay, drawing is done, as well as the simple letter. now for the nerve-racking part. on a sidenote, i took a bottle to the chin today. left a nice gash.

If the current political parties were disbanded, and people who gave a damn about the citizens' concerns were put in, then maybe I'd change my tune.
