allright. wednesday is kinda dull though. the only free games a poker and rumbling (general fist-fighting fun), two games that i suck at. the other game (the daily free crafting game) is shipwrighting this time. that's kinda fun. unfortunatly, all the other crewmembers seem to be absent lately. just now i bought myself a pirate badge to get the share of the loot is deserve! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> as i found out, doubloons cost around 1000 Poe (pieces of eight) each. a pirate badge costs one doubloon. anyway, paying 1000 Poe is still better than paying with REAL money. a pirate badge lasts 30 days, and as i can easily make 1000 Poe in two days if there's some pillaging, that's not a problem.

if you where planning on paying for doubloons, please do. i need that reward of 5000 Poe! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> if you're smart, immediatly recommend the game to other people. that should give you a good headstart.

the things you can do in the game are slightly different than you might expect. everything is a minigame, instead of real-time sailing and fighting and such. however, this is put in the game in such a way that it works really well.

i did something funny yesterday. i hijacked a navy vessel! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> they're normally used for missions, but i fancied a journey to the dragon's nest, so i took command of the ship. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":))" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" /> the rest of the crew where also up for a bit of a laugh and joined in! i let the former captain at the wheel again as soon as we got there though. i only wished i could have engaged in some ship battles. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> as i found out, someone else had taken the wheel from the captain AGAIN and he wound up banned! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> well, i need my practice so i can become an officer. i guess i'll keep to the usual ship's routes next time. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

ah, swordfighting's free today! that's good, cos i'm not that bad at it. still haven't joined in? you know, being enlisted in a crew is the best thing that can happen to you in the game. it yields a lot of loot, i can tell you that!

if you find me in the game, i have an outfit for you. i don't use it anyway.

see you then, i hope! i'll be on there in 2 and a half hours, maybe 2. the outfit i'm talking about is my old sailor's uniform. you get new clothes by working with the navy. you can use the navy to learn some basic skills. be sure that you've learnt at least one profession before i sign you up for the crew!

before i forget: i'll be gone for most of the next two days. maybe even the whole two days. ignore any other offers from captains until i'm back, if you really want to join the crew that i'm in. it's likely that you will get an offer in two days. captains are employing just about anyone on their ships. i myself got employed in two or three days! a complete noob at the time!

i found out blacksmithing is also free today. that's FUN!

i'd recommend you to learn gunning as quickly as you can. you'll have the captains FIGHT over you, i can assure you that!

by the way, our new-founded flag has a new flagship! we're up from the lowly sloops to a war brig! it's a really nice ship, with a small raised deck in the middle with the wheel on it, a seperate crew area, and 16 guns. i was kinda annoyed when all the four guns i was controlling got fired at once though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> that was a bit of a scramble to get them loaded all at the same time. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
