texturing new guns, swords and what not?

I am trying to make a really long Barbossa gun, I `ve got gm. viewer and tx thingie and inez diaz tool but how can you change something like that? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> and where`s a shop with good helmets and much kegs o`rum?

To make a long gun you first need a gun model. You can either create that yourself in a professional modeling program, or try to find one somewhere. Then you can, if you want, retexture it (change the looks and colors).
