Supermod Update 5

Got Cyberops latest fix and all is well!
Been playing for 2 hrs without any hickups!
Pretty rare these days!!! ....What is this World

did ya try to start the main quest and then fight w/ a superior force? well, i did and the next step was CTD. (AOP 1.41, supermod 1 to 5, then NEW game).
imho, using aop 1.41, 1.42 then 1.5 patch was better for me. i've reached the 1648 year and no CTD(of course-no main quest started. an ya know what is odd, i didn'feel the need of starting it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> )

but the game has improved and I don't think you will ever get away from
crashes during long play! I think it has something to do with the way Windows
manages the files. That's where the Defragmenter comes in! Since the Win.Defrag
is not a very good one, look for a 3rd party Defrag. as there are plenty out there! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

But you miss all the added content in the super mod .

I play both...more mod than generic because I need to report on what was fixed or left broken..IMO the super mod is more fun..despit the crash probs...I just save around them .

i used cyberops' supermod 1,2,3 few month ago. wonderfull mod but still w/ lots of CTD. then update 4 and now 5. still lots of CTDs(every 15-20 min.). when 1.5 patch apeared, i hoped that CTDs were fixed so i used it. everything was ok until i started the main quest. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> .
maybe i should give supermod upd. 5 another chance. maybe w/ some modifs. the game'll work the way i'd like. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> anyway, GREAT, GREAT WORK CYBEROPS! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" /> . i must admit that without ya supermod i'd never finished this game ever!! ya the man!
