steering wheels on ships and inventory

i'm not too sure what they are called in nautical terms, but wouldn't steering wheels be a great addition to the ships, and what about different cabins?

i hope im not alone on this one but the inventory SUCKS! is there anything that could be done about these two things?

If we're going to be strictly observant of the era (1630 - 1690) the helm of a ship then did not include a wheel, just a rudder arm. Wheels came later.

And I hate all that clutter in the inventory too! I just do what Skull suggests, turn off the weapons mod - then you won't feel like you're drowning in a sea of rusty blades...

The file BuildSettings.h is in the PotCPROGRAM directory - and can be edited with a plain text editor like Notepad - DO NOT use a word processing program like Word or even Wordpad, as it will throw odd invisible characters into the document that will screw things up for you.

#define ENABLE_WEAPONSMOD       1<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->Change "#define ENABLE_WEAPONSMOD 1" to "#define ENABLE_WEAPONSMOD 0" to turn the weapons mod off.

<edit> Forgot to mention, hit "I" to reinitialize the game. ALSO, with this change, if you are in the middle of a game things will look odd in your inventory - things will disappear or be replaced - best is to do this BEFORE you start a new game, then everything will be normal. </edit>
