Pieter's favourite Ship! She is a beauty! I just couldn't
resist after Rad started asking for her. All we need now

Hi Nosie. I have it already in my game too and I am sailing on it just now. But I think there are still some minor things that could be improved on this ship yet, for example adding lids for portholes, repairing the fixture of rope ladders, improving shapes of gun barrels in view from outside of the ship and so on. By the way I have Amsterdam in some my book and it seems to me the ship in game is smaller than in reality, especially when I compare it to the figures of people on the board. And the same impression I have in many another cases what about size of PoTC ships concerns. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" />

He is right, it should be quite a bit bigger, but unfortunately, none of the larger ships are the approximate shape of the Amsterdam, and since I can't model, I had to use the indiaman model to texture on. All the improvements that Rad suggested would have to be done by a modeler, and alas, I am no modeler. Someday, maybe some very ambitious person will make the Amsterdam from scratch, but it took me long enough to learn how to texture, it would take me forever to learn modeling! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Let me answer by saying that POTC doesn't provide for candle, lantern, or torch locators on ship models as it does for land location models.
