Sorry to bump such an old topic, but in re your (Alan's) question on adding wdmap/sea towns.
You won't be able to add a town to the sea mode without editing the island GM--but that shouldn't be too bad, export to wrl, edit, and reimport.
Wdmap is easier, just add a new town define in worldmap init and the little fort/town model will appear. -
