Could Maximus let us know exactly what increases each skill? The system seems to work well, but certain areas never seem to increase. I got cannons increasing pretty regularly with fighting so much, but I also sail alot, and that never seems to go up. Leadership went up after talking to a random person, but I don't know why. Luck never seemed to move. It would be a big help to know what does what! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Could you please post this on the <a href="http://swankyplace.com/potcbugs/view.php?id=340" target="_blank">Bug Tracker issue</a> as well?

Ahhhhhh! Okay I got it ... thank you for reminding me!

You see for the pure everything is pure, right? At least my intentions were 100% pure.

I can now see that my post might come through as laconic or 'mr vise guy' however that was never my intenetion and never will be. It was simply a quick reply to help Sir Sjarko and Sir Doober.

But really this is a clear picture of one of the lesser problems with communication via written language on a multinational message board. When trying to say what you have to say with humor and sometimes even irony (I am Danish and we often communicate like that) it can be a fine line and even considered an artform. However both humor and especially irony can come across really bad if not face2face where body language and tone can help walk that thin line. This problem multiplies when the two people communicating (in this case the author and every reader) are from vastly different countries and maybe even cultures.

So the short of it is that the above should be remembered, and while I have a right to be Danish I do not have the right to uncritically impose Danish communication on all. So to those who found my post 'out of place' I appologise.
