You're doing just fine, <b>sisko</b>.

However, you don't need separate textures for both sides of the ship. Make texture for one side and apply it for the other side as well.

Study stock models as well and note how they were textured. It helped me, it can help you <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

If u have some free time could u make new masts and reys for Black Pearl model? The ship is perfect but it's tackle too weak <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

too little ropes you mean? well, i think the amount could be increased a little, but i must say that the black pear actually has more ropes than any of the other ships in the game.

nope, i mean ship has too short masts and reys. the amount of ropes and staksels is well.

now you mention the short masts, you're right. i always thought they where a little short.
 
Well, my <i>Black Pearl</i> already has custom masts, so I can make me a new, taller masts myself, thank you very much <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I just didn't realize they need to be taller (The problem with them is that on the "real" <i>Black Pearl</i> 2/3 of them are computer generated, so actual ship simply has only short parts that would be visible in most of the shots).
 
i think a pic of the pearl chasing the interceptor would be a good example, or the pearl lying on the beach.

are you going to paint the stern in more colors? greens, blues, reds, yellows and such?
 
This is the original Stern. The Banner/Emblem is to bad to rebuilt.

PS: A Big Ship need big nails =P !

Is anyone here they would implement thes ship into aop?
I have not enough time for a software implementation <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> .
I would give the 3D resources free for tests

I think I could get her working in PotC, which is basically the same thing - all ships from PotC work in AoP <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
