SHIP NAMES

Inspired, Culliford! :) In that vein, maybe you should try Sticks and Stones (may break my bones, LOL!!!)...

I haven't joined in on the general discussion on ship names because I haven't really bothered to change the names on my ships - and I haven't found a name I really like, although the MOW I am sailing around now is the Tigress, and that's kinda neat...

The Tropico 2 Pirates Cove game has some pretty funny names for ships - things like the Rampaging Sea Turtle and the Ferocious Sea Cucumber.

Wow, how odd. I haven't tried to remove mine... But I just did try, and succeeded, except for some miscellaneous files that I deleted manually. What OS are you running?
 
I am (reluctantly) using XP now, too. :)

Go into Control Panel and select "Add or Remove Programs". You should find the game on the list - Actually when I tried removing it, the program made like it was installing it - so I let it, even tho the installation disk was NOT in the CD drive - After it finished, I tried again to remove it from the drive, and the second time is when it succeeded.

Microsoft... Go figure it won't work the way they claim it should! :p:
 
Not very creative with my ships, i just stuck with Victory for most of the time, tho now ive taken to calling my ship Wildcat, mebbe im reading too much Swallows and Amazons, lol. :!: hang on Amazon isnt half bad for a ship either. :)

XF5F Skyrocket (otherwise unnamed)
F6F Hellcat
F7F Tigercat (modernized F5F)
F8F Bearcat

`F9F-8` (8? Something) Cougar (de facto F10F)
F11F Tiger
`F-14` Tomcat.

Planes, ships...eh, good names for both. :)

Do what I did, I went into "Program Files" and deleted "Pirates of the Carribean" manually. I almost deleted the whole Bethesda file....that would have been BAD. I also have Morrowind on my system as well.
 
Uh.... Nathan, i meant the Wildcat from the Swallows and Amazons book 'Peter Duck', it is a ship. not saying that stuff from the iron works isnt bad, lol.
 
i called my prized Spanish Man O War that i captured (very hard to capture, it was) the "Glory of the Caribbean" and i called my frigate that i bought "Pride of the Caribbean"
 
This has been a most useful thread, mates! I'll be receiving my software as of tomorrow, but I haven't bothered 'til now to think what I'll name my ships. The "Rum Punch" and the "Tequila Sunrise" sound good. xD:
