<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->Oh now that was funny
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> really funny.

We teach Iraq about democracy.
So we give them presents of
Florida, Ohio, and other states' election procedures.

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> democracy in action.
Has anybody read the constitution lately?
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> democracy in action.
We crucified Clinton for office hanky panky
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> democracy in action.
We let Bush dictate violations of the constitution.
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> democracy in action.

We certainly do <i>teach</i> Iraq about democracy.

Hmmm ye hit the head 'o the nail or whate'er there mate hehe...

Isn't democracy a beautifull thing mates hmmm?! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

especially pirate democracy. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

skull thats my point. thats why this guy needed to be brought down!
i don't think killing innocent's is right, but when a guy does it, he better get whats coming for him.

also america isn't a democracy, its a republic. but you do have valid points. in the end, bush won twice, the second time with more votes then any other president in history.

my point wasnt to be serious, rather ironic...

btw, american way isnt the only democracy around the globe

<!--quoteo(post=177529:date=Dec 31 2006, 02:50 PM:name=shokre)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(shokre @ Dec 31 2006, 02:50 PM) </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->btw, american way isnt the only democracy around the globe
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->actually it isn't even a democracy.

it just likes to call itself one.

Hint -> the definition of democracy.

no offence, but most people around here think that americans tend to think that they are the protectors of the world. i know without doubt that there are plenty of exceptions, but bush isn't one of them.

No, it is a land of extremes. Before WOII the Americans isloted themselfes from the world. AFTER that, it considered itself as PROTECTOR and now it interferes with everything that happens now.

And i think that bush didnt even started the iraq war for the weapons, i think that it was oil, that was the reason.

I cant help it, i dislike everything that is EXTREME. So i dislike fundamentalistic people, no matter if they are moslim, christian, judish or communist, i think that those people are not right in their head.

extreme is never good.

an extremeist conservitive is the same as an extremeist liberal.

moderation is the key. and this to goes into saddam, because for him, it was his way......... or death!

all what TTT said, I completely agree with them
the fear of soon being dead is the worst and I think its inhuman.
I think its better to be in jail for your whole live to think about what you have done.. its better than the fear of soon being dead..

Yoda: "Listen to the Dutch people, you do!" <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

So petros you think that we Olde Wise Dutch people stink?
you heard yoda, better be smart and listen to us. We are a very nice country, just look at our prime minister.

oh no, not harry potter! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

Well lads, I know I'm going to take a lot of fire here, but here is my say on the matter:

I am an American, and I am proud to be so. I am a Republican, pro Bush, pro war. Neither Bush or Hussein starterd the war, or for the reasons of weapons or oil. On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked my country and kiled thousands of innocent people. We were not going to sit around and wait for the next strike, our response was mobilize troops and make our best effort to find as many terrorist groups, leaders, etc. as possible. Then comes Saddam, boasting to the world that he has weapons of mass destruction, and killing innocent Iraqi citizens. Well, President Bush wasn't going to just sit there while a dictator who had caused an earlier war, agreed to peace terms, and violated them was prancing about the world stage with a bunch of nucelar missiles in his pockets. We sent in more troops so we could create a larger front and kill two birds with one stone, get rid of the terrorists and the world's wost dictator since Hitler.

I respect other nations, their views, and look at them as allies. I will listen to others points if it is well structured and not a lot of rabble conjured up for the sole purpose of firing back at my statements.
About the world policedog thing, I can see what you are trying to say, us sticking our nose in other people's problems. Its sort of a double edged sword. It's like high school. When a fight breaks out down the hall, there's always that guy that tries to break it up. Sometimes you wish he'd just not show up, wether to see a good fight or to let the combatants try to settle the problem on their own. But when someone pulls a gun and shoots the other, or turns to shoot at you... "Where is that guy who always showed up?!"
And I don't believe the war we're involved in is a mistake due to our sticking noses in others problems. If we had'nt moved, there would be more terrorist attacks happening in the US and Saddam Hussein would be stirring up a hornets nest.

I say that the world should rally together, like we did in the Second World War, and snuff out the problems in the Middle East quickly, using eachother to achieve victory.
The war is nearly over, Saddam is dead(<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />), and the Iraqi people are doing their best to achieve a stable and strong country capable of participating in world issues. There are still some issues concerning terrorists, but Bush has just announced the mobilizing of several hundred thousand more troops to end the war (Sounds like the Invasion of Normandy tactic, eh? And that move worked!).
I think that there will always be terrorist actions, conflicts over Holy ground, and the like... but the Middle East can be a safer and more organized place.

For God and Country!

I think that there will be a counterstrike by the terrorists because saddam was killed, THEY even killed him on a holy day for them, a day that there cant be any bloodshed, i think that they are planning an attack right now. And i dont think that the US is the guy that show up when people are fighting, but they are usually the one who start it. But who am i to say it. every one has his own point of view.

i'm a little confused about all those news messages. where there nuclear weapons or not? i heard that there weren't any at all. i also heard an excuse (?) that the stuff to build nuclear weapons was meant for power plants.
