Retexturing TUTORIAL

ok .... here it goes .....

the dds to tx .... goes fine ....
then in the txconverter .....
the tx should convert to tga ....
but this is where it goes wrong .....
it does not reconize any of the pics as tx ..........

does anyone have a clue to do this ?

Hrrmmm

So if you browse in the ResourceTexturesCharacters Folder for fun you can;t see .TX files to the Right of the TX Converter?

The TX is on the right and the TGA on the Left..

Doubleclick on a .TX and then convert to .tga..

However it should be noted that we have identified issues with TX COnverter and PSP 8 as well as Photoshop 7 or CS, to convert from .tga to .tx, also with GIMP.

And the problem is that the newer versions of the Graphics proggies use a new version algorithm for .tga files that TX converter does not recognise.
