Retexturing Havana

I have began to retexture Havana once more since the pc was crashed where all the files of the last version were. So I have started all over again, and I think this version is better than the last. I have TOTALLY replaced Havana, I only kept the same port. Havana now consists out of:

Problem: We need to relocate the Bartoleuw quest.
To-Do list:
- Signs retexture to spanish
- Brothel
- Jail
- Dungeon
- Tailor
- Loanshark.
 
the castle-thingy's texture looks a bit too uniform, if you get my meaning. it needs more details. now, it looks like it was hacked out of a single piece of rock with a perfect surface.
 
That looks pretty nice. But are we supposed to go reusing CCC's remodeled locations? I think we should remodel our own, adding our own buildings the way CCC described in his thorough tutorials. That way the locations would not only have a different texture, but look differently with different buildings as well. But it seems like you're planning on adding some model-parts anyway, so that's good. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />
 
Want to change the bastion in a mansion, remove the mill (KEEP the warehouse, I love it!) Change the barracks in a gate (retexturing), put a naval institute building in the port (porthouse). I only don't know what to put in the redmond section. (The mansion looks now like a mansion with a jail, so I think I will put a prison there TOGETHER with the navy headquarters)
 
SAD NEWS:
The pc which contained all my modding files crashed, so I lost the better horatio hornblower, EITC officers, AND HAVANA, so I have to start ALLLLLL over again.
 
Great to hear that you are working on Havanna, and those screenshots look much more like a Spanish town for sure <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

How about adding a paint shop were we can get our ships painted different colors
 
Something I can actually do. Not a paintjob, noone can do that..... It is dll work, I can't do that, I can only code simple things, that are already ingame, so be realistic please <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> I mean: Brothel, blacksmith, loanshark, naval office, dungeon, jail, mine etc.
 
Nice... But looking at the last picture, I wouldn't put such green grass, and I would try to remove the planks, if possible.

tried to change it as good as possible, but I am not really a advanced coder, just a skinner with enough knowledge to put
his own mods in the game. So Bartoleu o Portugues or another coder, If you found out that this is not functioning well, feel

Ok, Thomas the Terror. I can try to adapt my quest to your mod <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
If you do so, could you put it up, so I can try to put it in Havana 1.1 (Maybe I will tinker a bit, and add some more locations in it.) Thank you.

PS do you also have quests in Santiago? Cause I think I will first try to make a second port to Quedebras Costillias and turn this into Charlestown. If this won't work or I have finished it, I think I will be modifying Santiago (I think I will replace the Greenford part)
 
Just want to try to add a port <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> And I want to make an additional port with the mayak model, an even smaller port and town as oxbay.

I live in such a town too, and we don't even have a port! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
step 1 of Nevis: Make a new locator DONE, could land, only I had put it a bit too close to Quedebras, need 4 kilometers further <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
wait....is the island actually that long? i guess the coastline still looks the same? if it does, then you have no idea that there actually IS a port. will the two towns be connected by land?
